Uganda, Sipi Falls - Natural Anaerobic.

Filter: Passion fruit and pineapple with a tropical and clean finish. Sticky forward sweetness, yet soft and delicate.

Espresso: Papaya, passion fruit, and poached pear. A big sticky sweet body with plenty of zip, but low acid with a long resting juicy finish.

We first had some Sipi Falls back in 2020/2021 and it made a big impression on us. It had intensely sticky sweet tropical flavours whilst still holding such great clarity. We've come back to this coffee every harvest since but it's never quite grabbed us the same way; until now. This year's crop is dialed up on clarity and down on funk, but it maintains the same great confectionery level sugars we remember it for.

This coffee gets its name from the Sipi Falls -  a series of three waterfalls that lie on the edge of Mount Elgon National Park in Eastern Uganda. This area is reknowned for it's 'Bugisu' Arabica, the most sought after of the Ugandan Arabicas. What's more, this coffee is even certified organic!
