A beautiful Red Honey process Costa Rica from the Tirra Estate.
This coffee will make you do your best cartoon-Texan-hitting-oil-noise when you try the espresso. Super lush, rich, and decedent cherry and raspberry mousse with chocolate cake. The nose is full to the brim of amazing unfurling flavours and, as is tradition with all our espresso roasts, also makes a great milky.
Don't forget about the filter, though. A great classic example of a clean and sweet filter coffee that ticks all the boxes for what you're after in a cup of batch. Crisp and vibrant green grape and pear, sweet cranberry jam (or sweetened Ocean Spray cranberry juice, Massachusetts represent), and rounds off with a juicy red plum bod.
Tirra Estate is located in San Marco at elevations of 1500-1600 masl.
Owned by the Coopetarrazu Co-op for the purpose of microlot production research, they are also examplars of sustainability and employee wellbeing, offering their farmers free seeds and soil analysis, education for their children, and accomadation and events for seasonal migrant pickers.
